The Merry Merry Month of May

Boy, did we ever have fun when Knitter's Magazine editor, and former Village Wools Fave, Rick Mondragon paid us avisit, with all the fine folks that attended Camp Stitches in Santa Fe, and his loyal entourage in tow!!!

Naturally, Village Wools, pulled out all the stops and welcomed the campers, staff and instructors with open arms. We were so glad to meet and visit with everyone, and we surely hope that you consider us your hometown yarn shop!

It would have been unthinkable to have Rick come in for a visit without inviting his many fans and former students from back in his Village Wools days. Face it, Rick, you can leave Albuquerque, but you will always be one of us!

Catching up with Rick Debbie New signed our bathroom wall! We tried to look nice! The food was a hit! All too soon everbody had to leave :(

Weaving Class Reunion

Calling all Weavers! Anyone having taken any weaving class at Village Wools is welcome to a Weaving Class Reunion and Potluck at Village Wools on Sun. Aug. 10 from 1pm - 4pm. Bring your woven show and tell and something yummy to eat. When was the last time you saw your classmates and did you ever see their finished project? Come!

Pagewood Farms trunk show Friday Aug 22

Robin Page, the owner and propriator of Pagewood Farms will be at VW with a trunk show on Friday, August 22. She will bring her spinning wheel and needle felting kits, etc. Check out Pagewood Farm's hand dyed yarns for socks at Village Wools! They are so wonderful!

PARKING ISSUES: If you are attending a class or guild meeting at Village Wools we would appreciate you parking across from the front of the building so there will be easy access for our other customers who come to the store for shorter visits.
