What we collect
- Contact and delivery details: name, delivery and billing address, email address and, if you give it, phone number.
- Order details: the products you buy, order history, returns and the messages you send us.
- Payment information: your payment is processed by our payment provider (Shopify Payments). We see the payment method and the last four digits of a card, never the full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and how you reached the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we use it
- To process and deliver your order, send order and tracking emails and handle returns (performance of our contract with you).
- To answer your questions and provide customer service (contract and legitimate interest).
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
- To send you marketing emails only if you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email (consent).
- To measure how the site is used and improve it, and to show relevant ads, where you have accepted the corresponding cookies (consent).
- To keep accounting records as required by law (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We share your data only where needed to run the store: with Shopify, which hosts our website and checkout; with our payment provider; with our fulfilment partner and the couriers who deliver your order (name, address and phone number only); with email and analytics services; and with authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our fulfilment partner and some of our service providers are located outside the UK, including in China and the United States. Where data leaves the UK we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses, and we share only the data needed to deliver your order.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice data is kept for 6 years to meet accounting and legal obligations. Customer service messages are kept for 2 years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Technical data from cookies is kept for the periods shown in our cookie settings.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the checkout and shopping basket, and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies (for example Google Ads).
